Thailand Week 2009


Thailand Trade and Economic Office, in cooperation with Taipei City Department of Cultural Affairs , Taichung City Government, Cultural Affairs Bureau of Taoyuan County Government, National Dr.Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Taiwan Association for Legal and Taiwan- Thai Association is organizing the “Thailand Week 2009” during Saturday, 14th March, to Sunday, 22nd March, 2009.
During the opening weekend, 14th – 15th March, 2009 at the National Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall, visitors will be able to participate in numbers of activities ranging from enjoying Thai cuisine to learning about business opportunities in Thailand from Taiwanese businessmen. There will also be a demonstration of Thai fruit and vegetable carving and dessert making, a demonstration of Thai cooking by the Executive Director of Thailand and Economic Office and the Exhibition on Thailand at Tamkang University on 16th, 17th and 19th March respectively.
The highlight of the Thailand Week 2009 is the Thai classical dance performance by a professional Thai dance troupe flown in from Bangkok, Thailand, especially for this event. They will perform Taipei, Taoyuan and Taichung. The performance in Taipei will take place at Taipei City Hall on 22nd March at 19.00 hrs.
